The most common cause of cursor delay is due to the smoothing setting.

To adjust the smoothing settings you will need to select the brush tool from the left hand pane. From there you are able to decrease / increase the smoothing to your requirement. 

By Default smoothing would be set to 0 which provides the most accurate touch. As you increase the smoothing from 0-100% the further away the line will be from your cursor.
