To get started with your espresso Display, please follow the steps below.

When contacting us, please use the following subject line and query topic template. Using this template will help our team respond in the most efficient way:

Subject Line: Onboarding - Amazon Customer - [Step of Issue]

Step 1: Connecting your espresso Display to your Device

Watch the following video by clicking the image, which will open a new tab. The video will detail the following  steps:

Connect to your device with the USB-C cable included in the box.

  1. If you have an older device that requires HDMI or Mini-DisplayPort, please connect using that cable.
    • If you did not purchase the required cable, you can purchase one from our Website, or on our Amazon page.
    • If you can't connect to your device with the USB-C cable and are unsure whether you need an additional cable, contact us via [email protected] or the Chat Widget
  2. When connected correctly to your device,  the espresso logo should appear on the Display screen for 2 seconds when powering up. Once the Display is powered up, the screen should show an on-screen environment from your device. The on-screen content may be mirrored or duplicated from your display based on your previous settings. You can configure these settings at a later stage using espressoFlow, otherwise go to System Preferences >> Displays and modify manually to suit.
  3. If you are using a smartphone, tablet or portable console, try connecting first with an external power supply, then connect your device utilising both USB-C ports. Once connected, you will be able to optimise the maximum brightness that the device can power without external power.

If you cannot get the device connect, please contact customer support with the Subject Line: Onboarding - Amazon Customer - Connecting Your Device.
Please include what device you are trying to connect it to. Examples:

  • Device (Laptop / Phone / etc.)
  • Brand (Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo)
  • Model (2021 M1 MacBook Pro)
